Grow Groups are semester-long home groups that meet on a weeknight to spend time studying the Word in community with one another. There are 3 main aspects of our groups. They are….

  1. Formational: The primary focus of Grow Groups will be spiritual growth through the Word in community. Thus, a majority of group time will be spent in the Word having a conversation through the study together.
  2. Seasonal: If you sign-up for a group, you are committing to the group for that semester. The goal is that we build community as we grow and walk alongside different members of our church body for a season at a time.
  3. Relational: Though most of our time will be spent in the Word talking through the study, these groups will be relational. The goal is not just a commitment to the group, but to the people in the group. As we pursue Christ together, relationships and community will form.

Grow Group FAQ's

These are smaller groups of CBC Richmond Hill members and attenders who meet weekly in homes in Richmond Hill, Bloomingdale/Pooler, Berwick and Hinesville on a semester-by-semester basis. The focus of these groups is on spiritual growth by learning how to apply the gospel to our everyday lives.  Each semester, our groups will go through a church-wide curriculum based on what we see God doing in our church.

Groups meet on various evenings of the week, depending on the group. Our Fall 2023 groups run from the week of August 20-25 to the week before Thanksgiving.

Our Grow Groups for this semester have closed, but please fill out a connect card here and we can let you know of other options of getting connected!

Grow Groups are for CBC Richmond Hill adult members and attenders.  Childcare will be determined by each group, based on the need and make-up of the group.

Commitment is the biggest expectation for group members. There are 14 meetings during the spring session.  Unless there is an unexpected event or unavoidable travel that would keep you from being at group we ask that you commit to attending all 14 meetings.  Also, each group participant must purchase the study for the semester.
